The SEN Section
The SEN ( Special Education Needs ) section is for students with learning difficulties. This section prepares them for a professional life. They have a special program.
In year 7, the program has 3 objectives : well understand reading and maths, develop their autonomy and educate them about citizenship. They also practise horse riding in year 7 to strengthen the essential things and to get self-confidence.
In year 8 & 9, they have a general and technical education. They have more technology lessons than other classes ( from 1 hour 1/2 per week ). Also, they go 3 weeks in a company for a work experience and to discover the different professional fields.
Finally, in year 10, they have a general program too but they have 12 hours per week of professional training in 3 topics :
- Hygien, feeding, services
- Rural area and environment like gardening,
- Habitat

Work Experience
They have to do 7 weeks of work experience in a company to improve a professional field. At the end of the year, they take a special exam. This certificate will help them to go into professional high schools or others special places for them.
