A Catholic school: Saint Augustin
The secondary school of Saint Augustin was created by the brotherhood of Saint
Gabriel community. In Saint Augustin, a chaplaincy is in the D building. Three
years ago, a Saint Gabriel brother, henri Peroys was in Saint Augustin, but he
retired in 2010. In Saint Augustin, many events are organised each years to
celebrate the life of Jesus. It's possible to do the communion and the
profession of faith with a priest. Pupils can attend a mass in the chaplaincy
every Tuesday. The head of the chaplaincy is Mrs Lagnesse and the name of the
priest is Michel Cottineau. Children are not obliged to practice the Catholic
religion because it's a personal decision, and other religions (like Muslim
religion) are accepted at school.
